Britney Spears’ mobile phone and Internet access is being restricted for “her own protection,” according to reports.
The X Factor USA judge has not had an easy ride of it over the years, after what can only be described as a tempestous relationship with the press, we have all witnessed the rise and fall of the Crossroads star.
Britney, who has been under conservatorship for the last four years, is said to be protected by her father Jamie and fiance Jason Trawick, who have grown concerned about her welfare in light of negative comments about the star since she began her stint as a judge on the show.

“A particular concern of Britney’s dad Jamie and fiance Jason is that her former manager, Sam Lutfi, will try to contact her,” an insider told RadarOnline.
“Britney and Jason essentially share a cell phone, and it’s routinely checked to see who has been calling.”
“Furthermore, the cell phones have been programmed to block calls from phone numbers associated with Lutfi. Britney’s computer usage is also restricted in the sense that certain websites are blocked,” the source added.
A restraining order taken against Lutfi ran out this year, and Britney’s family have been “going to extra lengths” to make sure Sam isn’t able to contact Britney.
